Slowly, but surely

I'm becoming a health nut.

My grocery list: tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, berries, tuna, corn, probiotic yogurt, soymilk, pineapples, whole-grain blueberry waffles, cold cereal, a coconut, fresh fruit juice, beer, cheese, and black beans.

My morning: Jefferson Airplane, a towel by the pool, and a million crunches, reverse curls, push-ups, planks and roll-ups. I'm already super sore.

Good morning, beautiful day.

Doesn't it feel great? You don't even know how much you love some of the aforementioned until you can't get the items anymore. Berries here are only seasonal, and are usually hand-picked. No more crates of strawberries, blueberries, blackberries all coming home from a Costco run. Avocados are an oddity, no one knows what to do with them and they are usually sold too ripe. Recently, a shop keeper seeing my interest kept putting mushy ones into my hand saying they were perfect. No, no, no. . . jajaja . . . can we say NOT? I'm still learning what to best appreciate on market day, every Tues. I should have it down by the time of your visit. Mmmmm
